In 2004 the institutes of chemistry and physics education united to the Institute of Science Education (Institut für Didaktik der Naturwissenschaften, IDN).

 

Common objectives:

cooperate in the didactical research

offer joined courses in the post graduate programme

perform colloquia sequences on science education research (together with groups at the University of Oldenburg)

coordinate the organization within the courses of study.

 

The IDN is a joined institute of Faculty 1 Physics/ Electrical Engineering and Faculty 2 Biology/ Chemistry.
